This trip is designed to provide medical education and strengthen collaborative relationships with local healthcare providers. Emphasis is placed on equipping clinicians with practical knowledge while fostering meaningful team connection and long-term
partnership.

Lodging:
Accommodations will be provided at the Baptist Guest House.
Meals:
Meals will be arranged and provided by the host.
In-Country Transportation:
All transportation within the country will be coordinated and provided by the host team.

Typical Schedule:
Participants can expect a structured schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, in clinic and hospital settings. The highlight of the trip is to participate in their annual medical education and spiritual conference held in the capital city of Chisianu.
Each team member must arrange and pay for their own airfare.

Requirements
Prerequisites
- Possess a valid passport that has an expiration date at least 6 months from the date of entry, 12 months is preferred.
- Submit the authorization form for an annual background check: https://ministryopportunities.org/CMDA
- Review the MEI Team Member Manual prior to Trip Departure.
Responsibilities
- All participants must be enrolled in US State Department's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP).
- Complete Lecture preparations with Team Leader.
- Upload flight itinerary.
- Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure of the trip.
- For all MEI team members, complete all tasks: CV, medical or board licensure & certification, sign Team Covenant/Waiver, etc.
- Upon your return, please complete the MEI After Trip Report.
Restrictions
- Complete physical health self-assessment on application.
- Must be in good physical condition, able to transport your own luggage, and walk a minimum of one mile.
