Christian Medical Association of Moldova together with the Emanuel Clinic have invited team leader, Dr. Andy Behnke, to be the keynote speaker in a Moldovan Christian conference on September 12-14, 2025. Interspersed with this will be medical school, resident and attending based medical education with a cardiology, diabetes, home health, and pediatric focus. Potential for a T1DM children’s camp and spiritual interactions abound. Come and teach with him in the gracious and beautiful country of Moldova!
The purpose of this team is to teach in Christian Conferences, multidisciplinary medical teaching in medical schools, residencies, and with Moldovan attendings as available.
We are looking for four to six medical professionals in multiple disciplines to join us in Chisinau, Moldova, to help meet the current needs for medical education in medical and surgical sub-specialties. These specialties include, but are not limited to, urology, cardiology, community medicine/FM, pathology, home health, pediatrics, and endocrinology. Western Medical School faculty problem-based learning styles/teaching styles (PBL, CBL) are also being sought and encouraged in faith-based medicine.
Both the clinic and medical school are well-equipped with modern technology, including Wi-Fi access, PowerPoint, and amplification. English is used in teaching, but interpreters will be provided as needed.
Lodging will be provided in student housing, which includes private rooms with baths and kitchenettes within walking distance to the main hospital. There are numerous trolleybuses and taxis in the city for easy transportation.
The team will travel to Chisinau, Moldova, from September 4- 5th with active teaching beginning in Moldova on Monday, September 8th, Christian Conference on September 12- 14th, and return to the US beginning on Monday, Stepmber 15, 2025.

Emergency Evacuation Insurance - purchased on behalf of participants:
Mandatory Emergency Evacuation Insurance: $4.69/day (Begins on the date of departure and ends upon the date of return to the US.)
Background Check
All participants must agree to a background check per year. This is approximately $15.00 per person.

In-country expenses are estimated at $100 USD/day + typical airfare.
