Each team member must arrange and pay for their own airfare. NOTE: The total cost will vary depending on the applicant's CMDA membership status, professional status, and length of stay. All participants will pay an admin/registration fee, project fee and daily emergency evacuation insurance fee for which MEI automatically enrolls all participants.
MEI teams are requested to provide clinical teaching in clinics and the basic principles of patient care at the bedside for MSIVs, primary care physicians, and ER physicians. Ophthalmologists, rheumatologists, and hematologists specializing in transfusion medicine are also specialties of great need.

Application/Registration Fee: Allied Healthcare Professionals: $75.00 / non-member - $125.00
Application Registration Fee: for non-medical professional/spouse: $100
EEI - Purchased on behalf of participants:
Mandatory Emergency Evacuation Insurance: $4.69/day (Begins on the date of departure and ends upon the date of return to the US)
Project fees:
The in-country project fees are on a sliding scale and may vary depending on the length of stay and CMDA membership status.
